Who Is Sena?
"That's me! The 'alien' ;-) The picture was taken in the virtual world, Second Life. "First, I want to say that without Alex's help as a 'transducer', you would have never heard from me... "I want to create a flow of communication with you so we all can profit from the interchange. The way I'll facilitate this give-and-take is to communicate with you in our forum . The Forum is a good place to visit for another reason--we're gathering ideas from you about what the next book should have in it. It will be a collection of 19 short stories--one for each chapter in Notes from An Alien; in the same time frame of the chapter but not always with the same characters :-) "You have so many Global Crises and, if you stay with me, you'll see that our Worlds have had many more—now past, now healed... "I want to answer all your questions... "I want to ask you a few, too... "Let me explain that the Worlds of Angi are about 1,000 years further along in social development than yours. This is a hint as to how I can communicate with you nearly-instantly even though I'm about twelve light-years away. It also helps account for why your scientists haven't yet (unless you've told them) discovered that we're out here. "But then, what could your scientists do even if they knew we were here; or, for that matter, your governments? "I suppose the scientists could 'study' us... "I also suppose the governments would want to 'control' us..." |
Who is Alex?  "I'm just the translator and caretaker here. Sena (pronounced Seh-ná) is the 'show'. She isn't 'just' a 'co-author' of the book. She's a character and extremely real for me--as real as what most authors feel is the Reality of their characters--maybe, just a bit more real :-) "Her main purpose in 'establishing a connection with me' was to facilitate communication with earthlings so she could 'get to know us'. We hope our book is not only understandable but of clear and definite help to Earth as it faces the multiple global crises it's experiencing.
